PIERCING APPOINTMENT DEPOSIT TERMS & CONDITIONS

Magnetic Tattoo & Piercing Studio

By completing an appointment booking and paying the required booking deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Booking Deposit

A £20 booking deposit is required to secure your appointment slot.

The booking deposit is a reservation payment for the specific appointment time selected and is deducted from the final cost of your appointment.

Only one £20 booking deposit applies per appointment slot, regardless of how many piercing services are booked during that appointment.

Any remaining balance is payable at the studio on the day of your appointment.

Your appointment is confirmed once the booking has been completed and the required booking deposit has been received.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling

We require at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Where sufficient notice is provided, the £20 booking deposit may be transferred to one alternative appointment.

Cancellation or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours' notice may result in the booking deposit being retained to cover the studio's reasonable loss arising from the reserved appointment slot being unavailable for rebooking.

Where reasonably possible, the studio will take into account whether the appointment slot can be rebooked when determining any amount to be retained.

Same-day bookings cannot be cancelled or rescheduled once the booking has been confirmed, except where required by applicable law.

3. No-Shows

If you fail to attend your appointment without providing notice, this will be treated as a no-show.

In the event of a no-show, the £20 booking deposit may be retained to cover the studio's reasonable loss resulting from the reserved appointment slot.

A new booking deposit may be required for any future appointment.

4. Late Arrivals

Customers are expected to arrive on time for their appointment.

If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may be unable to complete the piercing safely within the time allocated and your appointment may need to be rescheduled.

Where the appointment cannot proceed because of a late arrival, the booking deposit may be retained to cover the studio's reasonable loss arising from the reserved appointment slot.

We reserve the right to decline or postpone treatment where insufficient time remains to perform the procedure safely and appropriately.

5. Identification & Age Requirements

Valid photographic identification may be required before any piercing procedure.

Customers must provide any identification, proof of age or consent required by the studio or applicable law.

If the required identification or consent cannot be provided and the appointment cannot proceed as a result, the booking deposit may be retained where reasonably necessary to cover the studio's resulting loss.

6. Health, Medical Information & Safety

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete information relevant to the safe performance of the piercing, including relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications, pregnancy or other circumstances that may affect treatment.

We may request additional information where reasonably necessary to assess whether the procedure can be performed safely.

We reserve the right to refuse or postpone treatment where, in our reasonable professional judgement, a piercing may be unsafe, inappropriate or unsuitable.

Where an appointment cannot proceed because relevant information was not disclosed or inaccurate information was provided by the customer, the booking deposit may be retained where reasonably necessary to cover the studio's resulting loss.

7. Jewellery & Pricing

Unless otherwise stated, piercing prices include implant-grade titanium jewellery.

Premium jewellery upgrades are available at an additional cost.

The final price may vary depending on the jewellery selected and any additional products or services requested during the appointment.

Any additional charges will be explained before they are incurred.

8. Right to Refuse or Stop Treatment

Magnetic Tattoo & Piercing Studio reserves the right to refuse or stop treatment where:

  • the customer appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
  • the customer behaves aggressively, abusively or inappropriately;
  • the customer is unable to provide informed consent;
  • required identification or consent cannot be provided;
  • the procedure is considered unsafe or inappropriate; or
  • any other circumstance means that the procedure cannot reasonably or safely be performed.

Where treatment cannot proceed due to circumstances attributable to the customer, the booking deposit may be retained where reasonably necessary to cover the studio's resulting loss.

9. Studio Cancellation

If Magnetic Tattoo & Piercing Studio needs to cancel an appointment, the customer will be offered the choice of:

  • transferring the booking deposit to a suitable alternative appointment; or
  • receiving a full refund of the booking deposit.

If an appointment needs to be rescheduled due to circumstances outside the studio's reasonable control, we will work with the customer to arrange a suitable alternative solution.

10. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or limit any statutory rights or remedies available to customers under applicable UK consumer law.

Where a refund is legally due, it will be provided in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

Any booking deposit retained following a cancellation, no-show, late arrival or other customer-related circumstance will be limited to an amount reasonably necessary to cover the studio's direct loss arising from the reserved appointment slot.

11. Acceptance of These Terms

By completing your booking and paying the £20 booking deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

These Terms & Conditions form part of the agreement between you and Magnetic Tattoo & Piercing Studio.
